I'm having a weird problem. When i try to log on, either from my computer, via google, or from an email link I get a brief glimpse of the home page and then a white screen, but if i log on via somebodye else's computer (as I'm doing now), I don't seem to have any problem. This only seems to occur when accessing club arnage. Any ideas?

Hi Gary,

This may be a problem in a proxy or you local cache.

One thing to try would be http://clubarnage.com/weather/ and make sure that works.

Then you could try the forum again.  If it still doesn't work.  Right click and the pop up should hould have the option to refresh or  reload.
Hold down hte shift key and click refresh or reload and see if that fixes it.

Regards,
T.

could be something about the DNS as well - try clearing your browser cache.

You know the problem Mike? Computers are for surfing, phones are for speaking to people...  Wink

You'll be telling me next that you can order pizzas by pressing the red button on the tv control.....  Huh

No, none of the above works.
it's fine from my home computer and also a workmate's computer but when i go on I just get the blue virtical bar on the left hand side for about half a second and then a blank screen with the word Done on the bottom left hand side of the bar at the bottom of the screen.
Nothing has changed on my work computer and I think I was getting on fine for the first couple of days with the new CA server.
Even when I get an email alert saying that this thread had an answer the opened link (whichever way I open it) gives me the same blank page.
It's almost like my computer is filtering out the CA site. And I have no idea what or why this is happening.

Funny - same with me - CA works fine on my home pc but not on my customers site any more - most likely some proxy stuff...

No I'm afraid it makes no difference. I'd tried logging out by clearing my history and cache but that didn't help either Huh

HI gary,

I missed this bit.

No, none of the above works.

Are you saying that http://www.clubarnage.com/weather/  doesn't work either.

Something else to try Gary is go to the page and hold down the ctrl key and press F5..

This *should* force a reload of all the page information..

Other than that - have you tried turning it off and on again.....

Tsk, should have bought a Mac!  Grin

Thank you for that tip Toby.  It's a much better solution than the Shift Reload or Right click ones.

It's very odd, I can get on to the home page by going in through google images or googling Club Arnage, but as soon as I try to get eny firther I just get a blank screen.
I'll try rebooting my computer tomorrow.
You'll know if I manage it as I'll be posting during the day. Otherwise I'll see you here tomorrow evening Sad
