Found out this morning that Blues / rock legend legend Jeff Healey died on Sunday after a long battle against cancer. He was 41 years old and his new album is due out in Canada on Monday. Sadly the rare form of cancer that claimed his sight at age one came back to claim his life 40 years later.
Rest In Peace Jeff, only wish that I had got to see you play live.

At my age, it takes me all night to do what I used to do all night!!!!!!!!!!! Then, growing old is compulsary, but growing up is just optional.

Indeed RIP Jeff. Apart from his great albums he made that God awful Patrick Swayzi film about a bouncer that I can't remember the name of watchable.

The film was Roadhouse. It was that film that introduced me to Jeff Healey's music. Ade

Thanks Bob. I've always enjoyed Jeff's version of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps".

A sad loss indeed. Jeff did the only other version of Cream's 'Badge' that might actually be as good as the original! RIP Jeff - long may your music live on.

Sorry could not miss that one.

Pot Black's instantly recognisable theme tune was the ragtime classic Black and White Rag, composed by George Botsford and performed by Winifred Atwell.
