We are waying up the option of migrating the SPS crew to HA, however we do have one chap who has a love of his life TR4 and is concerned about getting it trashed by beer chucking idiots on the Houx roundabout??? I seem to remember there might be 2 entry/exit routes, if not what the experience, he particually wants to go to St Saturnin on Friday.

I honestly can't really tell at the moment, but I have to visit the office at some stage and will try to find out. The current building work makes it quite tough to see what the new arrangements will be.

More paranoia, rumours and white lies We take along a fair selection (and value) of sports cars and, if you're sensible and avoid that kind of idiot, you won't have problems. Besides, judging from the work being carried out at the roundabout with the tram stop and the concrete buildings, there won't be any idiots at the roundabout. Any road up, looks like some more wannabes are migrating to the lush verdant grass, lakeside views and sandy tracks of Houx Annexe Oh and I'm moving this thread to the Help section.

Thanks for redirecting the post Steve. Was there more than one entrace / exit, didnt go under and out near the stellar bar? was this just for pedestrians or cars as well?? Or did I just dream this of the hallowed ground.

In previous years, there's been at least 2. One opposite the Houx entrance, one half way along the road adjacent to the circuit wall (Chemin Au Beoufs).

Are they, were they, just for pedestrians?

Are they, were they, just for pedestrians? Both were/are for cars and pedestrians. If you access the site by either gate there is no need to go anywhere near the roundabout whether coming from the direction of the Stella bar or the road that passes Karting Nord that leads to BSJ This is the main gate

I'll have to come by boat and lay on the sandy beach then Bob The only one of those 'facilities' that is true is the bottom one. Del

Shouldn't we petition the local authorities to rename 'chemin aux boeufs' to 'chemin aux rosbifs'?
You should be OK for avoiding the mayhem on the roundabout. It's only really inundated by arseholes on the Friday night. A bit like my local.
Del. There is a sandy beach, it's really long, and goes round the site. It's called the access road.

Yes, I reckon MB will resemble the Atacama Desert From the look of all that mud, more like the Somme, circa 1916.

Houx Annexe has always had three access roads.
The One that goes under the track by Tetre Rouge and by the Stella Bar. (Open all the time) The one that goes past Houx and Karting Nord then under the Porsche Curves near Arnage. (Open all the time) The one that has the Houx Annexe Roundabout that does not lead anywhere on Race Days.
IMHO, if you are really worried about your car taking it out on ANY road on Friday is a risk. The road by Blue Nord and the roundabout near the porsche curves are equally as bad for that sort of thing.
DfH did consider moving to HA but it was decided to stay on MB.
