2GB cards are fine (get a couple though). My Memory prices are very competitive, I normally buy from them. Sandisk, Kingston are both good cards.
As to the camera, definately BLACK

Standard memory card would fit I assume as I cant see anything in the technical spec………… Black is the correct choice. Roll on sunset of the 24hours at the Dunlop bridge 08

Compact Flash is great. It's relatively cheap and not easily destroyed. Also, because it is not dependent on a controller inside the camera, there is no limit to the memorysize of the card you can use in any given camera. For the camera: black is good. Silver looks stupid and cheap, it's like a dinky-toy camera

I would not have any other make of camera other than Canon, I bought a digital Canon on holiday in Lanzarote some five years ago, just before Christmas this year the display screen went, It was sent off for repair, I was informed that the parts was not available, Canon, replaced the camera with a brand new one, as they had found that a lot of the display screens on my model had been found to be defective. so now they have a customer for life.

Kev Read the Canon ebay shop site, damaged goods, can be the box, of ex-demo or ex-display. They also quote Additional Shop Information The customer is entitled to return the product (for any reason) for refund within 7 calendar days after receipt of the product. Seems a good place to look and there stock changes often. Have a good rating as well I got my camera from there! I got a 30D for £455, about the same price as a 400D would be in the shops!! The box was a little creased, but the equipment is pristine!
