I'm hoping that this will be on time, but if you remember there was also one scheduled for last year in the week prior to Sebring but it ended up getting cancelled due t the main fuel cell being damaged by golf ball sized halestones a couple of weeks before! But here's hoping!!

A lift out to the Cape for this would be a great way of thanking me for the tea. Dx A fair exchange, I'd say. What a lot of people don't realise is the amount of preparation that goes into occasions like this. Meticulous planning and almost unthinkable technology -combined with potentially lethally volatile liquids and gasses that have to be combined with microscopic precision. All it takes is one miniscule mis-calculation to create an utter disaster that can have far reaching and quite horrendous consequences. That's why I prefer tea bags to leaf.... Takes all the guesswork out of it.

I am also arriving later on the 11-th, so if you do not mind, I would love it if they postpone the launch to later in the week

FYI If there is a night launch and the sky is clear, the launch can be seen from Sebring and pretty much anywhere in the state. So if you do arrive in Florida earlier than the 11th just pay attention to the cloud cover. But a day launch can be seen also. I live in Miami and have witnessed at least 6 launches from my street. Granted ... it ain't the best ...... but it can be seen from well over 100 miles away.

"Thanks god that's behind us" said Impala LMPX1 designer Lee Self, "I was afraid we were going to have to completely redesign the interior of our 2010 ACO spec Experimental P1 car" Continuing, "When we came up with this driver combination body size and height were our overarching concern. The ramifications of a driver change at such a late may well have impacted our ability to field a fully sorted car. I mean, what if we had to draft a Gurney or an Andretti into the car; Completely different problems. It's not easy to install those Gurney bubbles in the roof. and if it was a shorter driver, can you imagine the time lost in the pits sliding the seat forward?" "So with our original driver line-up STILL in place, we look forward to getting back to our testing of new components and fluids." ----END ** REPOSTED FROM SEBRING FANS FORUM **

Arrive in Orlando Tues 11th. Depart Orlando Sat 22nd. Somewhere in the middle is Sebring Looks more like "somewhere close to the end" instead of the middle, at least the race will be! Do I have to report in too, together with the five others? I guess you know what we're up to
