We have chacked with Brands Hatch and the Kentagon is open until 11.30 that night. Unfortunately they were not interested the The Flying Baguettes doing a gig that night otherwise we may have provided some music for you.

Myself and Buz will be down there sometime Friday afternoon in a pair of Vettes. Keep an ear out for us as we'll be in need of beer as soon as we arrive.
Kentagon on Friday and Saturday is a cert.

We're being put up off site but I'm told the Kentagon is usually pretty good, the beer isn't badly priced and there are usually "specials" of some sort - jugs of Pimms last year IIRC, it's often a pretty good party from the look of some of my marshal buddies the next day!

I've got myself a passout so I will be there early Saturday morning. If anyone has a GA and camping pass they need to get rid of I will take it off your hands.

My Plan at the moment is to come over on Saturday night. I will bike it to football, leave as promptly as possible, come home and switch into the car to drive to Brands. I have one spare seat if anyone from the local area fancies coming along (I live in Woodley, nr Reading).....

Looks like there are 4 of The Flying Baguettes coming down for a beer on Saturday night. Assuming we will meet in the Kentagon we will aim to be there about 8.30pm?
If you are going to be elswhere could you let me know - Paddy has my number.

8.30pm sounds fine for me though, depands on how far the walk to the Kentagon is from the campsite. Looking forward to meeting you guys again.

This film should be played at high volume, so don't come complaining about it! And who the hell is Steve?

Does anyone know how realistic I am being expecting to be able to get my car to camp?
Doris has my tent, and has kindly agreed to throw it up in the air and peg it down for me, but ideally I'd like to have my car close by in order to keep an eye on it....
Is that unrealistic? or can it be done? If its going to prove hard, a sportscar sized parking space on site would be most appreciated, but i'm guessing that marking out a pitch the size of a multi storey might be a bit of a mission?
any thoughts gratefully received!

Sneaking in a car without having a camping pass will be hard. We could arrange someone with a camping pass to drive in your car for you, on foot you would be able to sneak in, and save 30 quid you could spend on us in the pub.

Marius, I have a camping pass, thats not the problem - the issue is going to be space for the car for me - the car is still new ish to me, and I'm a bit paranoid of leaving it anywhere! Plus it would nice and convenient to be able to get to my stuff in the boot!
If someone could bag me a space that would be great - it wouldnt be the biggest disaster if not however....

Have a good weekend everyone Big thanks to Russ and Gail for their hospitality... Myself and Lady Pig Pen had a cracking night. Sorry we missed you all this morning but 4am finishes dont lead to early starts with us! Mark... everything everyone says about Tropicoma is true It was cool to see The Gimp too, who must hold the record for getting from the south coast to kent and his antics kept all amused. Lady PP is still staring dreamily into space after the humping she received over the sofa. I hope the turbo wedgie he received has done no lasting damage I trust everyone felt as rough as me today!! Thanks for a great night everyone Pics to follow but pub is calling now.
