A few of our guys are going this year, so I should get some decent feedback.

Steam-Thingy ferry company have got monoply on the crossing to Douglas, and they're f*cking expensive!

Last year it was somewhere in the region of £240 (Sterling!) per bike plus one person

We'd probably take a large van with several bikes in the back,still gonna be pricey though

Assen would be cheaper The night before the race is also something else, the brethren would fit right in!!

I have been to Assen once before, but a long time back ( John Kosinsky had just taken Foggies ride on the Honda RC45 and also beat him ), and it was a good crack. Stinky Bill has also been several times.

If you take a van, they'll sting you as freight.

They're robbing bastards, that Isle Of Man Steam Racket Company. I lived on the island for a while a few years ago, and it was the steam rackets prices that eventually forced me off the island.

That and the fact that I'd got a severe case of Island fever.
