We have decided to take bikes again this year so will make our way over as often as we can.
So, even though you are using our campsite we are still not good enough for you ex MBer's

Ironically, Houx Annexe was the first site I ever stayed on at Le Mans in 1998. Camped at the very top by the entrance to Houx. The next time I went I was camping on Houx, wanted Electrics for the week. Spent about 3 years there, during this time I made lots of new friends on Maison Blanche so moved over there.
I would like to set up a permenant base on a campsite but this looks more and more unlikley as HA is set to close and MB looks to be getting smaller every year.
Personally I am rather happy about being back on Houx Annexe as the traffic outside is better, closer to the Stella Bar, Closer to the better viewing spots of the track.
The biggest downside is it is such a long way from lots of other CA campers.

I dunno, by the sound of it there are more CA'ers on HA this year than MB.

Do you think you could arrange a portable party and bring it to Houx Annexe? It's such a long way to walk

Most certainly - they've seen the light Nah the ACO seem to have decided that "we're not worthy" - I only got allocated BSJ, FFS how bad do you have to have been to put your order in before the race the year before and get BSJ

I just proposed to our guys to sell off our MB tickets and buy some HA as well, not sure if they will agree with me, cause most of them would like to be trackside and the tickets we have cost a shitload, not sure if we will be able to flog them off for those prices.

I think MB will be saleable even with an agent's mark up. They normally sell on ebay for over £100 and as they are virtually impossible to get this year they'll be a market. Trouble is you'd have to invest again and then flog of at a later date.

We'll discuss first what all at DfH want. I got my doubts at first, but am not alone in making decisions.
