I got my request in for 2 x Tertre Rouge on the Sunday of pre-qualifying last year, I've received an allocation today from the ACO of Chapelle, which from what I've seen would be bottom of my list.
Any other Tertre Rouge-ers heard anything yet? Looks like tommorow morning will be spent ringing round the agencies. Sad

Hope you're sorted now, Fisherman. We got into a similar position, but Andy from Team Langoustine (www.teamlangoustine.com) put us back on the right track  Cheesy Cheesy. I do have to admit, after having a bad experience with MRI a few years back (in desperation) I was sceptical about the majority of agents, but having looked round this year there appear to be more reasonable deals on offer, particularly the 'run by fans for fans' sort, of which TL are one.

Roll on June, just how wet can it possibly get in Houx Annexe this year???

I have heard from the ACO in response to an e-mail, that I should be getting my invoice shortly. I've had no confirmation that I will be getting the camping tickets ordered (Tetre Rouge) so fingers crossed. Placed my order ob#n returning from last years events so by your experience things do not look promising.

It seems that I have problems getting Tetre Rouge every alternate year!

I've now placed an order through the tourist office asking for Tertre Rouge with Expo as my 2nd choice. They've aknowledged the order but not whether they have any Tertre Rouge available.
For those who've camped there previously, what is Expo like security wise? One of our reasons for liking Tetre Rouge is the pass out system on the gates, whereas other site seem to be open access. Is the fence between Expo and the road of a decent size?, pass out tickets system on the gates? I've seen comments about locking the cattle sheds, would a big padlock do the job or would we need a chain too? How big are the sheds? Any help on these q's gratefully received.
The tourist office have said my card will be debited in Feb so I suppose I should know by then whether I've got the site I want or if I've got a few nervous months scanning the sell or swap on here.

Well I know the tourist office had at least 1 spare Expo camping yesterday as I reduced my confirmed order from 3 to 2!

I don't know that it is possible to lock the cattle sheds, certainly I can't recall seeing any with doors!  However you can chain things to them.  Last year there was no passout ticket from the site.  The previous year there was but only during the race.

And don't nick my spot, been in the same place for the last 5 years, don't fancy a move!

Chris,

Where on Expo do you base yourself?

We normally camp just to the left of the entrance.  You will be very welcome at the Dragons Den where cold beverages are served at breakfast.
(Just hope we can get it again)

We will be there from the Monday  (9th) about lunchtime till after the race.

Do you actually camp inside the sheds or just around them?

I walk past your encampment regularly!  Our preferred base is in the cattle sheds from your pitch go up to the main entrance, turn left and 2nd shed along on the furthest side.  However don't get there until Wednesday lunchtime so don't want anyone nicking our spot!
