I didn't have any problems with a large monkey bike in 2006, which I brought down in the car (sorry Piglet). I think even the brain dead on the gates of Bleu Nord realised I couldn't have ridden down from Blightey on it.

In 2005 and 2006 the whole place was open for goped fun ( see pic left) however in 2007 securite would not them through the gates. On one occasion having ridden on the track from porshe curves to tetre rouge, then having had a good pit walk (tues pm) we exited through the back of the pits towards KN. 10m through the gates we decided we didn't want to ride them on open road and turned round. The guy who saw us (4 people) ride through said passes please!! we ended up riding out past the camping areas on the road and back to MB main gate to show our camping passes to be let back in. People in other posts have said last year bicycles were not allowed in some areas. The philosophy overall seems to be changing e.g more numbered pitches after last years zoning/ free space. but i'll still be there, wouldn't miss it

One advantage of MB you are already past the entrance gate, so your bikes are already in.

It's OK, we've got the Stinger device ready for this year We've got four camping spaces and only two vehicles so there will be one of ours spare for vehicle use if that helps (not that I'd want to get in the way of Paddy's "back of the truck" activities"

Indeed you are, the mistake i made was leave This year bumped to BN as others have so different issue. Was it worth taking the "monkey"? i've been looking at them and i'm there all week. I imagine its good for the supermarket, trip to arnage etc

We had a proper big bike down for trips to the supermarket and Arnage ( thanks to Andy ) However if you are a lazy git like me, it was great buzzing around the sites visiting people. Proper bike is best Overall i'd say no unless everyone in your group has one, formation cruising. Piglet loves them

Piglet loves them I've just not understood the need to do constant laps of the campsite for hours on end when you could be drinking! The funny one last year was 14 year old Jordan saying loudly and very straight "ooh look at that fat man on the funny little bike" as one chap came round for his 7th lap! Funnily enough he didn't come back for an 8th lap and Paddy....yes, I think you might be stuck with your truck comment!

On Expo last year, we had motorised scooter racing! Noisy, unwanted and frigging dangerous.
However, there were two highlights;
1. oil placed on a corner!
2. midget racing! he had trouble looking over the handlebar. Met him in the loo koo and quite a nice chappie.
Looking for the pics to post.

I am on the lookout for a single extra MB ticket for a good looking young lass who rides a Ducati 996 and wishes to break her LM virginity this year I think I can create an extra space in the back of the lorry Steady on there old chap, she's a serving officer too you know. Got to maintain standards you know. And a flea-bitten straw palliasse chucked down in the back of your artic will simply not cut the mustard. But she is the genuine article - a good-looking, bike-riding motorsport enthusiast with legendary Stella and red wine capacity. An asset to any group and party. MG Mark Sounds like a possible new Brethren member!! We will look after her!!! Gentlemen, you know!

Ere steady on Rex I doubt if she'd fit in at all after all you have the sort of motorcyclist who deliberately dumped us in the middle of an evil industrial estate larst year, instead of delivering us safely at the Tiger Tank Andy, forgiven but NOT forgotten p'raps er'd better come over and muck in at the Lush Green Pastures with Peter's young friends And the relentless Spridgeteers And the East Anglian Cobrataters oh bugger it, y'ALL come (If er's a real serving orficer she ought to be able to survive the straw paliasse in the back of a truck, but it is a Leetle Undignified for a first visit!) Any road up (proper Brummie that is) I do have a certain amount of unclaimed tent this year, at last!

OK, I've got my allocation too, sooooo wait for it, my choices were: 1) MB 2)BN and 3) I think KN so go on what do you think I got (given that our requests went in before the booking date opened).....have a guess..... BSJ I've given up giving them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they shifted us all of MB so we could all be together... So if anyone wants any highly sought after BSJ tickets please let me know otherwise I'll reject them...
