Autosport.nl reports Jan Lammers will compete in the LMS and 12 Hours of Sebring. Apart from a few details he has closed a deal with Lista Horag Racing, entering the LMS series and the 12 Hours of Sebring in a Porsche RS Spyder. With that deal, it's also the end of the sportscar team Racing for Holland, which is sad but inevitable. I'm glad he can compete on a level that he deserves.

As for Le Mans, he has some interesting offers to consider...

Happy for Jan, but a shame that RfH disappears.
However you of all people should know if it's inevitable.

So I guess the odds are pretty good that we'll see Jan at Le Mans again this year?

What shame the 'brand' Racing for Holland will dissapear, but most mechanics I spoke to over the last few years did prefer A1GP anyway.
Of course it's great Jan will compete in '08, and I hope he will find a seat for Le Mans with podium-potential. We'll always cheer for him, and I'm glad he has already created a reason for us DfH people to visit the regular Le Mans Series' races.

Makes me wonder, should we change our name now? Undecided

A sad day for sports car racing from my point of view, it's actually the spirited smaller teams like RfH which keep the series alive  Cry

... and Paddy ,  no, please don't change the DfH name, it's almost a brand name!

Not to worry Werner Grin

What alternative would be there anyway? Pure Drinking, like in Spyker's Pure Passion?
Nope, we'll raise the RfH flags at LM for years to come! Cool

Sorry it didn't work out, but unless you took the chance then you would have always wondered.

Hi pieter,
Sorry to hear RfH is gone. Tell Jan he will have a big cheering section at Sebring.
Hope all is well with you.

I'm sure he will have time enough to pay a visit to Turn 10. I'll insist.  Grin
