I think that we could slot 1 or 2 in as late inserts for the calender if you don't mind?

no worries .... i'll dig out some decent ones, if you wish ?

cheers,

david

Well, they're allright I suppose F308 Man, but I'd say you've still got a thing or two to learn when it comes to taking pictures (us pros say 'shooting snaps' these days, and you'd do well to work that phrase into your vocabulary if you're hoping to try and sell any of these efforts).
I've attached one of my proudest photographic moments, also taken from the pitlane. And as if I need to tell you, it is of course the race winning Jaguar from 1988. Or was it 78?
H

PS, if you'd like me to share some of the more technical aspects of this shot, number of s-stops, aperture speeds, name of my chemist etc, just let me know...

I've got dozens like that.

Any with a car in them, also have a chain link stanchion or a CCTV / TV camera in them as well. In front of the car.

Err BOB, we cannot use anything in the Calender that could be construed as Accredited. If the ACO see one and think that the calender has used accredited images it could have very negative effects on CA.

Great Pictures BTW!

Rick, you can certainly use this one I took of the Jag on it's victory lap in 1990. Or maybe this one of a blue car and a pink car at mulsanne corner the same year would be of interest to motorsport fans.

Hope it helps.

Great snaps you've shot there Andy, a real Pros work I can tell.
Here's another one of mine from the same era, this one also hangs proudly in my study, and never fails to brings a tear to the eye of any visiting motor sport fan.
You can use this one too Rick, if you'd like.

David,

Some good ones there mate.

But I think that generally you must an afficianardo of 'backsides' both human and mechanical. No insult intended.

If you have loads more, please post them as they give views that some of us aspire to.

Here's a self portrait I composed on the mad friday after a protracted visit to sports bar at Hell's Gate in 2003. I won a photography scholarship for that one.  Mind, it's not all prize winning stuff H, sometimes things go wrong such as in the second photo below which is theoretically of the Gimp. I don't know what happened here and even the boys from Fujifilm are at a loss to explain it. Best l;eave it they reckon.
