My word! I had no idea that we had sponsored a car! What a shame the engine blew so early in the race.

Anyway Chris, it was great to meet you, sorry about my alcoholic stupor at the time. I doubt I made any sense.

Incidentally, have you heard anything further from the ACO in respect of the non-official Zarse version of the Le Mans 2003 poster? I gather they were not overly amused by the idea.

Apparently they are willing to let you off if you invest £1,000,000 in making the Commer an eligible entry for 2004!!   Grin Grin Grin

Now that really would be something! But I doubt even a million quid is enough to pursuade me to take the bugger down to Le Mans next year.

The old heap of crap is so unreliable. It even had the nerve to run out of petrol!

How many Commer posters were spotted then?  It caused a few people to point and laugh at the Sud window in Portsmouth (I hope it was the picture they were laughing at)....

Maybe the Audi UK team will sponsor you then!!!   Lips Sealed

It was a right hoot! But I lost count of the times people commented on it. And I saw a few posters dotted around in various cars etc.

Apparently the ACO got the right hump about the desecration and gross misappropriation of the poster and took piccys of it being displayed in someones car window. On sunday lunchtime, "someone" apparently took the opportunity to stick one in the window of the ACO offices. I would love to know their reaction!

Would that be the same desecration of a poster that originally showed the two Bentleys being overtaken by a blurred red car??   Huh
