Usually I offend somebody by referring to them as English and they turn out to be Welsh or something.

Rugby World Cup Lang
Skippy = Australia Blacks = New Zealand Scots = skirt-wearing, drunken inhabitants up north with a chip on their shoulder
Edited for accuracy

Edited for accuracy No doubt Debs you are looking forward as much as I am to seeing our Gallic/Garlic cousins having their frog's legs torn off on saturday. Or will it be a case of the Jean Claudes burning the English lambs? It'll be a grand occasion anyhow. PS For what it's worth that great big hairy French bloke who looks like a giant bad-tempered Jesus played a blinder. I wouldn't like to smell his breath, mind.

MR Chabal to you and me I think. Did you see him when the All Blacks were doing the Haka? He looked as though he was about to leap and rip their throats out with his teeth

Can I just say that Saturday was going just fine right up until a certain forward pass was missed by the referee. Cest la Vie. That is how sport goes sometimes. At the end of the day England beating the Aussies was enough to put a smile on my face. I am now torn though. Do I want England to beat the frogs and Argentina to beat the Boks setting up a final that is a rematch of the first game of the tournament, or do I want England to win? Dx
