As the title says.

Just returned from sailing Plymouth/St Malo/Grandville/ Dilette/Plymouth and with a decent a tan to find out that my ma inlaw fell down my stairs and broke her collarbone.

I'm sailing again from Thursday to Sunday this comming week and all paid for by my client, and am due at Silverstone LMS the following weekend.

In the meantime Erindorz is busy decorating.

So folks, the challenge for you is to recommend a 'major' point winner that will allow me to go to the LMS.

Due to the time constraints, I think you can understand that an element of urgency is needed.

At my age, it takes me all night to do what I used to do all night!!!!!!!!!!!
Then, growing old is compulsary, but growing up is just optional.

I don't do GREEN, I've got a 4x4

I suggest "her" own holiday some where hot, with the girls, thats what I've done. She's off to La manga to play tennis for a week in October. It must have taken me all of a milli second to say yes Grin

I too say a nice holiday, or what i did last year was book Mrs VQ into a nice spa with her 2 sisters for all of them to be pampered. Women seem to like that sort of thing, can't see teh appeal myself but each to their own.

Do you not fancy packing her off for the weekend and joining in the fun at Silverstone then Dave?

You could always help her with the decorating.  Agreed - spa holidays (unlike Spa holidays, which are great) sound like the absolute pits to me.  A weekend with the o/h in Paris would be better!  But then, if it were me, you wouldn't be allowed to Silverstone without taking me along.  Whatever, for myself, any hol' I didn't have to do all the organising for would be nice... and unheard of!

Thought : Why not ask her what she'd like to do? Huh

Edit : Mr T's advice "buy her a bigger paint brush".

You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

Try combining the spa holiday with the trip to Silverstone, this is a stones throw from the circuit.
