Le Mans - the how you get there is not quite as important as being there.

bloody brilliant. I wondered when someone would post that livery. I've been looking for one of Clark and Hill doing a three wheeler together. Anyone have one of these then please post

Happily, my photography skills have come on a little since then, but just to prove I was there...

Yup. Afraid so... Those were the days.. I've gone over all nostaligic. Although the pics I took back then on my old Instamatic are awful, they're still some of my favourites. Hang on to even the cr*p stuff you take when you're young, because you'll never forget. Sad old bat or what? http://www.imps4ever.info/racing/races/bevan.html

Blimey - just think of the drag from the open quarter lights - could have been on 2 wheels otherwise!!!

Termie, Like what you said about hanging on to the crappy, grainy, blurry old photos you took when you were a kid. I've got stacks of photos I took with my cheap little Kodak Instamatic from Mid-Ohio Can-Am, F5000, and Trans-Am's, and Indy (when the Indianapolis 500 was a man's race). I take one glance at those and it puts me right back in 1972 or '73. Fax

Ain't that the truth. Here's one I love - the great old Reggae.. So good to have been there. Would love to see some of those old Can-Am shots some day.
