In the time of telemetry within FI, it was reported that McClaren could drive a car at almost race speed around a track without a driver in the car purely by remote control. This was the time that everyone was saying a monkey could do it.

OK, remote control systems are getting better, I know I 'sail' an RC yatch when I can't get out on the real thing. But, have a view of this from yahoo:-

We've seen recent adverts of them climbing stairs on TV, I'd just liked to see the McClaren doing a circuit or two at speed without a 'driver'.

The ladies already have 'remote' men powered by (f)U2 batteries.
