BA Sale my @r$e I was booking tickets for a skiing trip to Colorado over Christmas and New Year (oh, and to see the sister in law and brother in law who live over there) Got a price one day, got a BA email the following morning saying about the BA Sale so excitedly went to the web site to see how much cheaper the tickets were in the sale, only to find the total price for the four of us had in fact gone up by £150! I guess we'll have to wait a few more months until the March flights start to get discounted!

I've booked the hotel in Key West already - using Holiday Inn points from Aberdeen (silver lining and all that stuff...)
I also have enough BMI miles to get the flight to Florida (with Virgin, who are a Star Alliance partner) - but there will be tax of about £200 to pay.

This may interest some/all/none of you. Just checking at Budget for a rental car and they have convertible Corvettes (guaranteed) for $195 USD, taxes included, for a 3-day, Thursday to Sunday rental. I didn't check other dates. http://www.budget.com/budgetWeb/home/home.ex
