Yay, we should get a CA team together .... Hi Fran, For a starter on this, there are several questions:- - Have many drivers (skatersare allowed per team?
Mileage expected and therefore 'fuel consumption':- - Should it be measured by eating/drinking capacity?
- or, start weight/finish weight?
If I remember correctly, the LM course is 13.8km:- - Will there be 'onboard' a facility for the imaginary mechanic?
What would you estimate the miles/kms to be covered by a team of say 100 members? To the previous reply by 'Amazing 1' I think I can concur 100% with his comment.

Basic rules are:
Max 10 skaters per team Over 16 only (over 35 counts as a veteran team!) Must be able to brake and turn (no beginners) There is a 300m qualification run to decide grid position Traditional LeMans style start (ie run across track and put on skates) Baton relay/chip timing There is also a "Drivers" Parade in town It is run on the smaller circuit (Bugatti?)
Previous team results were:
Winner - 168 laps - 702km distance Last - 54 laps - 225 km

Well, if you devide 702 by 168 you get 4,17 kms. So yes, the Bugatti circuit

So yes, the Bugatti circuit Hmm - coming down from Dunlop bridge and making that right hand corner could be interesting!!! At least if it isnt on public road there wont be any drink/skate rules. F

Yay, we should get a CA team together .... Given it only cost Euro 520 to enter a team, it is difficult to resist

The campsite is within the 24H track facility, it is watched over and has restrooms and showers. It is accessible for 5 euros a person, for the whole weekend (pay at the entrance). Campers vehicles get in for free. The campsite does not have electricity, but BBQ are allowed (usual precautions compulsory). Dogs are forbidden. €5 per person for the weekend and vehicles free. For that you get watched over. BBQs welcome but usual precautions compulsary. What precautions?. These skater must be a dodgy bunch, we don't need watching over and we are not asked to take precautions with our BBQs. Stay away these people are bad assed Mo Fo's And another thing. Why do they get Restrooms and all we get are Bogs?
