The old desktop weather is finally making a prediction for race weekend.  It's generally about 100% wrong, so let's take bets on:
Monday 11th  22 Thunder storms
Tuesday 12th 25 Scattered showers
Wednesday 13th 23 Partly cloudy
Thursday 14th 23 Showers
Friday 15th 22 Showers
Saturday 16th 23 Parly cloudy
Sunday 17th 24 Showers

Hmm - not so sure - about the week, but the race weekend looks like precipitation could well be a bit of a them......

I always find this site useful http://euro.wx.propilots.net/   Click on the drop down box at the top left and find "Precipitation Rate Forecast 00-144 hr", and then click on the time frame you want to look at across the top.  Normally depressingly accurate.  As is the "Cloudcover Forecast 00-72hr" view   Sad

I predict that all areas will be wet from about 10am til very late evening-early morning on all days, wind will rise in all directions from late afternoon onwards only abating briefly at around mid morning.
Worst affected areas likely to be MB and HA.
Poor visibility on Friday evening clearing saturday with Sunday likely to be very smoggy.

However trackside conditions likely to be perfect for racing whatever the weather.

And thats why hasn't been so wet since!  After that race I went out and bought a tent I can stand up in, and sit and cook inside!  Since then no sustained torrential rain!

Oh, I love weather forecasts.  The weather channel is telling me it's raining so I'm trying to figure out what that big warm yellow thing in the sky is.

Like you I laugh in it's face.   I'll be happy to raise a glass with you.

The Commer has given me it's forecast:

On saturday it should rain in drops about the size of a wrestler but fortunately most of the rain not quite reaching the ground. It will be quite warm, about the temperature of a cow. On sunday there will be a very stupid area of low pressure and this will bring some stiff breezes, feeling a bit like the first rush of euphoria induced by a large dose of heroin. This will bring some heavy thunder, about as loud as a woman. So the summary is, cool, showers, wet, cool, showers, wet, cool, showers, wet, cool, showers, wet......

I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.
