He will miss the DTM round on 10th June at Brands Hatch, see  http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/59312

Now I think there is serious doubt he'll make it to Le Mans just a couple of days later - bad news for all the Danes at the track

He won't drive (IMO), I think the decision has been made but for many reasons it won't be announced until nearer the time (when the Danes are all on their way).

That was a big big shunt he was involved in and whatever was said about him being fine after it, he really would have to be superman not to have suffered some damage.

Audi has just announced that they will decide on Wednesday 6. June whether Tom Kristensen will start
at Le Mans. Tom will have a another medical check on Wednesday

His name was missing from the sign above the pit today.

There was still no decision yesterday - Audi just said they will decide at the latest possible moment - doesn't sound like yesterdays medical check was successful

Doesn't sound great, but I hope that it turns out right for a good and popular driver, whether for this year's Le Mans or later - preferably the former.

"Winkelhock struggled at Lausitz before he eventually hit the wall" doesn't sound like a greatest of substitutes....

I'm sure the Guide tells me but I don't have time to look.

Can they have four drivers?  Could they have Tom in the car so that he does one stint and then not run him for the rest of the race?

No, it's 3 drivers max. Of course one of them could do only one stint and the other 2 the rest, but that would not be a professional plan

At least it will mean we won't hear some French bloke saying Tom Kristensen over the tannoy every two seconds like last year.

Does anyone has any news about the shape of Tom Kristensen? Nothing is posted at tomkristensen.com yet...

I'd assume he's man shaped but I've never actually seen him.

Sorry, I couldn't resist that.

As some of you may know, the French are unable to pronounce the letter "H". I'll never forget Le Mans 1985 or 86 when German Driver Hans Heyer was at the wheel of a Jaguar, imagine what the commentators made out of his name Grin
