I was referred to CA by a member on www.jabbasworld.net (great car forum i belong to)

I've been lurking around today, and i must say this is a top notch site... truly amazing. the guide you all have put together is incredibly informative and is making me really pumped for my first ever 24H du mans.

a little about me:
US/French citizen, dedicated "petrolhead", long time Le Mans fan, cant sleep im so exited for the race.

Hi and welcome.  Nice site that too. Don't forget to come and say hi at the Champagne Bar at 21.00 on Saturday night.

Hi Goodduck,

Welcome to the madhouse.

Yeh, I'm getting excited as well, but I'm also getting worried. The two don't mix very well.

Due to lots of things, I haven't been able to service the 'Sixfire', so I'll be servicing my baby at LM (assuming it gets there).

I've been planning this year for the last six months judging by my calander, but time flies and I haven't packed yet or checked the tent.

This weekend is a NO NO as it's my 29th wedding anniversary, the car is 60 miles away, the sun was out today and I'M GETTING PISSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But apart from all that, WELCOME.

I'm new to the site also. I like the changes. My wife wonders why I can sit for 24 hrs and watch the race. I'm just a gearhead.

Hi vettec6r

I presume the moniker relate to a well known make of motor. Are you bringing it LM this year?

A pal had a C5 and I fell in love with it. Now he's got a 'stang and blown the g/box.

However, WELCOME.

Thanks for your kind PM, Xander (goodduck).  It was great to meet you.  Sorry your introduction to LM was so soggy but I was glad to hear that in spite of that you managed to find your way to Arnage and Mulsanne.    We hope we'll see you again soon. Smiley
