Am I the only one who is happy to be back at work today? Poxy weather, nowhere to go and nothing to do. So Mrs U decides, that as our son is finishing uni in a couple of weeks and moving back home, it would be nice to decorate his bedroom. My argument that, "He has lived in a student house for 3 years. Surely the concept of a newly decorated, clean room will be an alien concept to him" didn't hold up. After about 15 minutes of arguing my point the words "Sebring" and "next year" came into play. Needless to say, 30 seconds later I was hotfooting it to B&Q. I ended up busy all weekend, Missed the superbikes and GP Here I am on Tuesday morning, knackered and glad to be back at work for a rest, but, with a signed piece of paper that confirms that I will be one of the first to mention "The S Word" next year. So, all in all it wasn't such a bad weekend after all

I wouldn't worry about missing the GP, assuming you were watching paint dry (you were decorating after all), that would have been far more interesting... My weekend was fairly interesting, I had absolutely no plans, apart from tidying my room and sorting out some Le Mans related stuff because the "christ, it's two weeks" moment hit me a bit. So I washed a load of clothes, dug out waterguns and beachballs and battery chargers and things. Now I'm all sorted, and it's still two weeks to go really... haha. I did start watching a load of Le Mans clips on YouTube though, and uploaded a few of my own! I defy anyone not to get goosebumps: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fwgj3xlQu8w

Bob,
High Wycombe was officially the coldest and wettest place in England yesterday.
Nice.

We had our team pre-Le Mans training camp at the weekend, in the Borders for the Jim Clark Rally. A weekend of barbequed meat, stubbies, motorsport and sleep deprivation has put me right in the mood for the big one. Whatever the weather's like this year it has to be warmer than Duns at the weekend, and without the hail too please.

Took the camper thingy down to Chichester for the week end out got peed off with the wet stuff falling out the sky and pushed off home not before visiting the RAF museum at Tangmere, well worth a visit for a modest £5
