I have just been to get all my camping gear out of storage and found a chair which I pikied after the Donny race last year.  Its dark blue, one of those fold up ones with a drinks holder.  It was left at our pitch after pretty much everyone had gone.

I think that at the time someone on here said they had left it behind, but I cant remember who.

If anyone wants to get it back, let me know and I can bring it to LM to arrange the reunion!   Smiley

P.S.  Revisiting the old Donny thread to try and see who the chair belongs to reminded me of something.... which campsite are you on this year BobU??  angel

You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

Thanks Fran, but by now it has been well documented that I was plied with Tropicoma to try and make me join you on MB. Next year I won't need plying with anything, all us HAers will be homeless and we need taking in and made welcome by all those nice folk on MB.

Umm - I did go to Le Mans with a Mr Fran in a TVR once - but that was a while ago (in fact the year of the HA flood - we were greatly helped by some lovely chaps in a giant Winnibago next door)!!!!  But certainly no 5 year old - or was that yours?  Shocked!

I think that Big_M (little organ) has a TVR - possibly it was them

Did you come over to our side of the campsite and mingle???  I dont remember meeting a peer of the realm.

Fran
I was talking about Donington last September.
We were next to the road that runs through the campsite and there were several people getting a bit shirty with the guy who had the old Corvette Pace Car who was giving it some rice at about 1.30 am.
Anyway - It's not my chair!!!!!!

LOL - I realised that Your Lordship, its just my mind wandered a bit to attending motor racing events in a TVR generally!!!

Anyway, I still reckon it might have been Big_M (little organ) - I think she brought us cakes too - tho I may be mistaken of course!!

Ah Fran, we're getting somewhere - the lady (Big M?Huh?) did bring us cakes. So, it must have been her. Who is she again?
Oh, and it's not my chair!
See you in two weeks.

We could'nt find the campsite at Donnington so pitched up along side the trees in the car park. Where was it?

Behind the Park Farmhouse Hotel, see www.parkfarmhouse.co.uk

It was a nice site, very handy for the circuit, but a bit heavy pricewise.

Long discussion at the time on CA

Bugger- drove into there too, couldn't find anyone.
Paid off tho'- as a result of not finding the site and sluming it in the car park we have ended up with VIP invites with a LMP2 team for LM and Silverstone!
Fate eh- funny thing.
