I have been dithering a bit as to whether or not I want a grandstand ticket this year!
If anyone has a spare grandstand ticket (preferably ACO or the neighbouring ones heading towards Dunlop - Chinetti, etc cant remember all the names) could they let me know and I can continue to dither in a more constructive way.
Merci!
F

Failing everything else, we're sure not to use all 8 of ours at the same time, so apart from at the start and finish, I'm sure we could lend you one from time to time, Fran!

Most generous offer thanks Termie. However its only really the start and finish that I use a grandstand - hence the reason I have been dithering about spending the £60 or thereabouts for just a couple of hours viewing - albeit in relative comfort at a time when the terraces are a nightmare for a short ar*se like myself!! Well I spend 20 years pondering the value of the Grandstand seat. I finally bit bit the bullet in 2001and justified it as less than €250 (including camping in MB) for the 5 days was a still pretty cheap. If you just look at the Grandstand on it's own and how long you use it's a tad expensive.

I've never resented the cost of the ACO one. Somewhere to sit, always food and drink available - also good up-to-date timing sceens in the caf' bit. I'm usually planted there between about midnight and 5 in the morning where the on-hand food and drink are a godsend. Also, in the middle of the night it's great to watch the pit-work going on before wandering up to the Dulop bridge to see the sun rise. Must I wait another three weeks....
