Hi,
I'm not familiar with the Paris CdG airport so I was wondering in 1 hour is enough time to get from arrivals to the train depot. My filght arrives at 9:25AM and the traine leaves at 10:28AM, would that be enough time at that airport? Otherwise the next train is after 1PM.
Thanks Craig

That is very tight. It's a good interchange but waiting for baggage etc could make it very difficult to do.

Hi Froger, Prepurchase , look for discount, and have them hold the ticket for pick up. Phil

Hi Froger,
done this twice, always bought my train tickets right at the counter, no problems at that time. 1 hour between plane ETA and train departure will most likely not work out

Not buying your ticket in advance leaves you the option to go into Paris, get a cab or the metro accross to Monparnasse station and out to LM too, if you feel up to it!

Hi Craig, So far we have buy in advance or wait until you get there and now the added option of Paris too. More choices Eh! I have done the via Paris optuion and if you have never seen Paris it is worth the effort in at least one direction. If you are rweturning on Sunday night I would suggest an advance ticket. I agree with Phil about booking for the return. You can of course do this at LM station when you get here.

I'm flying out on Tuesday evening so I thought I might see Paris on the way back. If I buy my ticket in advance but miss the train am I able to redeem it for a later train?

I don't know, Craig. I'll have a look at the t&c's (if I can find my way around the site from hell!)

Around 70 in old money. It did get up to about 40 Centigrade a couple of years ago. If it rains, it can be cool but is rarely very cold except at 4 in the morning when a decent fleece is worth having on you.

Right: for the TGV (which the Paris to LM main line is) you can change your ticket within an hour after the departure of the train you're booked on. After an hour, you are charged 50% to change it. All seats have to be booked in advance (by which, I mean at the booking office, not on line etc)as all seats are reserved. http://www.tgv.com/UK/index_HD.html
