2007 will be my first LM trip. I missed gs tickets online, what will be my best chance to purchase one (any grandstand)?

If it's your first trip I wouldn't worry too much about being in a grandstand. There are plenty of other spots to be watching from.

Good point smokie.  I don't think anyone should be allowed to buy a grandstand ticket untill they have stood in the pouring rain on the terraces for the two or three hours before the start and the finish and then again the following year and been roasted alive in the searing heat.  I'm afraid it's just part of the treatment.
