Speaking as one who has, dare I admit it, never been to the Stella Bar are there any plans for a get together there at any time. I think that Canada Phil has a bit of a gathering there every year or am I getting mixed up with somewhere else? I know we all meet up at the Poo Bar on Saturday night but wondered if anyone fancies a bit of a sharpener on Thursday night at the Stella Bar?

Also, who is planning to attend the drivers parade on Friday? Pub crawl and curry anyone?

Jem, you should lay off the champayne and redbull for breakfast man.
I will be at the stella bar for weds night for the greet the moose if it happens. last year was a let down for the moose, as only half dozen turned up.
I will also try to get to the town weds afternoon for a swift half.

Lovely pic Bob, who took that !!!

There was a time when you could have a beer at the Stella bar and actually see the cars, alas that is no more as the Frogs have decided to spoil everyones enjoyment, same goes for the hunaudiers restaurants when you could take the full impact of the race and stand out on the armco.

Hi Andy,
Thanks for the kind words. The Moose gathering has become a bit of a tradition and if you are game I am more than happy to continue it.
9:00 pm Wednesday  This is the break between sessions on track.
Jem would be good to see you too.
Lord Steve,
As your Lordship has failed to grasp the importance of an early start to the racing week. You will have to drum up your own crowd for Thursday.  Shocked

In defence of those who didnt make it last year - at the appointed time there was a deluge of such proportions that many of us were gathering our treasured possessions and texting Noah to see if he had any space left on board!!!   Undecided

What can I say?
Wednesday night will see us all in Calais after the drive from t'North. Unfortunately none of us can get away from work until Wednesday morning.
Anyway - I'm going to start a new tradition of my very own - The Tres Hombres Gathering at The Stella Bar on Thursday evenings!
All welcome (of course) especially Honorary Hombres, Canada Phil, Jem and the Up North Crew, Powermite and the Super Furry Animal Welsh contingent, Jon Fatboy and Le President, and all Club Arnagers. Fagey and Fran maybe you can make it?
Even if I end up there alone I'll still be there.

Last year was our first sortie to the stella bar, we were due to watch the footie there, but arrived too late on HA, so after setting up camp, headed to the stella bar.
So our group of 10 will again be heading there thursday pm
