Ok, simple'ish question,
I listen to BBC radio 7, and some of the programs I would like to record to play on my Ipod.
Anybody know how you can record programs, on to my pc. espcially the listen again ones?
The only option is to record it on to a tape at present.

Get a lead from maplins or similar with a 3.5 mm stereo plug on each end, than set everything up on the computer, lpug one end of the lead into the speaker jack, the other end into the microphone jack, click record, then play on the media player. This should record quite well (I use creative media source to do my recording with, and it works fine)
Good luck

Get yourself some decent recording software (Audacity is a very nicy freeware one) and record 'what you hear'.
You'll get a way clearer recording then going out through speaker (which is a stereo line out) and back in throuhg mike (which is mono). There's also the 'streamripper', try that on google, as I'm not sure how legal it is to point you into the exact direction...

This film should be played at high volume, so don't come complaining about it! And who the hell is Steve?

Nopanic,
Glad to hear I am not the only sad person who listens to Radio 7.
I use a piece of software called 'BBC Radio Ripper'. They obviously didn't want any confusion over what it does.
If you go to
http://www.computershopper.co.uk/
click on their download tab, then do a search for above SW. They have a trial version, which is limited to 30 mins downloads.
If you plan to do lots of downloads, it is worth buying.
I assume you have broadband?

PS. Did you catch the 'Sea Wolf', gripping stuff with Ian Dury.
