We like the idea of joining this trip as St Sat is something we've said we would try to do for the last couple of years but have never made it. Problem is that some of our guys will arrive on Friday, and we never know when. So, to try to tie this down a bit, I'll try to get them to arrive via St Sat  Smiley

Termie, when you say "lunch" are we talking 12.00, 13.00, 15.00??

Somewhere back in this thread, jpc, is a link to my notes on the trip (in a post by Steve B).  We're leaving lunch arrangements to individuals and are leaving St Sat at 14.00 (ish) - I say ish because the parade cars arrive then and we may wait another 15 minutes now to let everybody see them.  We have a stop at about 15.30 and I can give you directions to that so that anybody who's late can meet us all there. Do come along, the lists of cars is beginning to look a bit tasty, isn't it?

I'm off with Mr Termite today - he's going to act as guinea pig and test my directions - and I'll publish the route at the weekend.

Here's the link

I'm working on a map, also, when I figure out how to do it!  Plus a few details about the various interesting stuff we pass.  There'll be more to come, but as Steve says, at least could you download a copy of the route plan if you're coming along, or I'll run up a horrendous ink bill!

I believe there is a coach hired too and coming to St Sat? With John Curtis we are trying to plan for the day and would like to know at what time so we can arrange, if possible, some parking for it. Ta

You can now also download the map of the route here

Thanks so much to kpy for supplying the maps.  Appologies if some of the roads don't look as straight as they are in reality - just getting to grips with "Paint" and a lifetime of trying to drink local breweries dry does not help!

Herard (the owner of the bar on our route) is a complete Porker freak so will be delighted.  One of the minor Porsche teams always used to stay at his hotel in the old days but sadly has not made the entry for a couple of years.  He'll be delighted to see a 911 there.

Can't come in the MGB GT as it's a manual and the leg's broken, so pleased add an AM DB7 Vantage to the list of runners  Smiley
