Yeah, have fun! Bytheway, when you get there, can you ask the people from LMS to get their act together? At the moment the LMS site still reads "More to come soon!", even though that same site used to read in early January: PAUL RICARD (F)
OFFICIAL TESTs
25th-26th March
Season 4 – This is the fourth pre-season meeting for the Le Mans Series at the Paul Ricard HTTT circuit. We presume that this session of Official Tests will provide the first laps for the Peugeot 908 amongst its challengers
Six hundred fans will have the privilege to attend the first time testing laps achieved by their favourite teams on this circuit usually closed to the public. Actually the circuit will offer a full package...
So what the 'ell ever happend to the above??  Btw, especially for our friend A Zarse, here's the French version of the text above, note the slight difference in numbers... Un millier de fans aura le privilège de pouvoir assister à la "mise en roues" de ses teams préférés sur ce circuit habituellement fermé au public. |

I am still pinching myself - I cannot believe the weekend I have had. Have never got so up close and personal with the teams, drivers and cars in my life. And the Saleen did 36+ hours without stopping for anything but fuel, plus tyre and driver changes and minor servicing. Had a chat with a very up-beat M. de Chaunac. Tell me I'm dreaming....
I'll post some pics in the morning... where was all the catch fencing....?

I'm guessing Deb is refering to the Paul Ricard test weekend, Wishy! You guess right. If there was a Saleen at Sebring, I missed it. Although that moonshine did do very odd things to my brain too.... |
