What a bunch of B****rds, do people have no respect.

Sorry to hear about the humber, was looking forward to seeing it motoring around Le Mans this year.

I have consulted with the Commer and duly a fatwah is issued:-

"The rats that run the streets also run the sewers. They are nobodies with nothing and they are the excrement of society. My son the Humber has been violated and I condemn the perpetrators. I bask in their misery and place my curses upon their pitiful lives - for they are not part of our society and i do no recognise them as people in any civilised respect of the word. May death come upon them swiftly."

The Commer has spoken. May God have mercy upon their miserable souls.

The bloody  brainless little tw*ts.

They had a go in a road not too far from here the other month.  Just smashing windscreen and side windows.

If you catch'em bring their balls to LM and lets see what happens when I put them in the microwave.

I hope you can get it fixed without too much trouble.

Mr Zee you are too kind.  I wouldn't request any mercy for them.

Taking a (possibly naive) optimistic view, this glass is probably toughened (as opposed to laminated).  Given the age of the glass, possible stress within the glass due to temperature / shock etc - it could be that the glass just gave up of it's own accord.

I had this happen to me years ago with an old car with a toughened windscreen.  The glass must have had a small stone chip (ie a stress raiser).  I parked the car, slammed the door shut, walked up the road - and seconds later, heard a whoose noise as the windscreen collapsed.  The slamming action must have caused a small instantanious increase in internal pressure - with the already stressed screen, that was the last straw.

Cobra friends with toughened glass sidescreens and wind wings often complain of them spontaneously exploding.  Toughened glass is, already, highly stressed.
I use plexiglass sidescreens and wind wings.

Indeed not, but with the Curse of the Commer now upon them, not even the big'un stands much chance of saving them now, if it proves that the breakage was due to to scrote intervention rather than mother nature.......

Good point.  I'm old enough to remember the problems it gave.  The train windows are toughened, and every now and again one of them lets go.

Mind you, on Coronation Street, the local yobs nicked the Minor Traveller.  Perhaps its started something.

A laminated glass expert should be able to cut and fit a replacement, and from memory, its not too expensive.  Humbers must be present and accounted for.  Or will they all turn into suicide bombers.

In Wokingham? No, I'm sure it was the yobs.

PS Steve what are wind wings? They sound great. Can you fly around on them or are they to do with your nocturnal "exotically-scented aromatic melodies"?

PS Steve what are wind wings?

Nothing to do with brown wings per chance?

All the glass was inside and i was/am pissed off so will maintain teh scrotes angle, yes even in the leafy market town of the naam.

Speedy Spares reckon an RAC windscreens type place will be able to cut and fit for not too much.
