Being somewhat of an opinionated old codger at times it has been known for me to upset some folk from time to time... I think some of you know what I am talking about   Wink

Anyway, whilst browsing the site today I noticed that a certain Mr Zarse has changed the picture thing that appears when he posts.

The irony isn't lost on me, but it did make me laugh  Grin

Does this signify a ceasefire..?  Why not  angel

I don't really think that hostilities had commenced in the first place, for a ceasefire to be declared?

Andy does, of course, have the impeccable manners and timing of a true english gentlemen as always, whether accidental or deliberate it always works for him, except for when he pi**es the Commer off and then, generally, he's really for the high jump until he has placated her.

As for hostilities, I don't think there really were any in most people's minds....

I couldn't resist the Oldtimer freunde thing, it just seem so right.

No need to apologise old chap, it's actually a pleasant change to engage in some sparky debate. Some might call it incendiary but not me.

I think I found a picture of you taken some years ago. Needless to say it features a Commer  Sad but what's with the white coat?

the white coat...

the picture was taken before the decoy cladding was added to the vehicle.  By the time it went on the road it looked for all the world like an ice-cream van.  The driver needed to be similarly camouflaged  We still use the same ruse today... Should make spotting me around Mulsanne/Arnage etc easier come June  Grin

Shhh! Walls have ears. And eyes. It's criminal what they put in their sausages these days isn't it. Not sure about the icecream but a nice touch to go with the Mr Softee thing though. By the way, I've a Commer picture for every circumstance.
