100% turnout at work today no skivers because of the weather, mind you it was about 9 degrees and sunny... the joys of Guernsey the Channel Islands (to include Fagey)

.......and Somerset.  Looked out the window this morning expecting a lovely picturesque whiteness, only to find it had been raining.

With all this cold weather, my 4 chickens seem to have developed a bit of a cough and runny nose.  Should I be concerned?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/sussex/6343489.stm

The nation really is on its knees. My local pub has just burnt down.

It was a dive, the beer not always the best but it was within walking distance.

Mixed feelings. In the old days of red Ford Escort cabrios and white stilettos, The Hole used to be a good pulling pub for all the Gatwick hosties/trolly dollies/cart tarts/gays etc. More recently it became less popular with the vast improvements of new venues in Crawley. I guess I've not been near the place in ten years. You'll have to drink at The Hillside i suppose, I think that's where many years ago Gibberish met with some police on the way out and was awarded a 12 month "rest" from driving.  Sad

Some things are more important than work.

Quite right Monkey.

Instead of snowman building, we found that sitting on a sledge and being pulled by a quad bike at around 35mph, was indeed more important than working Grin

And another thing. It said on the TV this morning for everyone to check up on their neighbours. I live next door to an 87 year old woman and the selfish old cow hasn't been round once to see if I'm ok. She's that bone idle she hasn't even bothered to take her milk in for over a week.  Angry

...the nerve of her Andy, if I was you I would never speak to the old bird again.

 Hi Andy,

First the prostitutes, now the turkeys. Not much chance of a gobble in Suffolk nowadays. Grin

This really is the absolute limit. WTF is going on in this country?

Rolf Harris singing Stairway to Heaven and G4 singing Bohemian Rhapsody I could just about handle. Madonna made a complete pigs ear of American Pie.  I have just heard the worst cover version ever, The Sugar Babes & Girls Aloud murdering Walk This Way.

Why? why? why? I know it's for charity but FFS stop inflicting this garbage on us.

I am going home to play Wont get fooled again at full volume to get my head back in gear.

Moan over

This film should be played at high volume, so don't come complaining about it! And who the hell is Steve?
