btw, the choice of the GT40 is apt as 2007 will mark 40 years since Foyt and Gurney drove one to victory!

Sorry Nordic, but that's a bit like saying Buzz Aldrin was the second man to walk on the moon   Undecided Undecided

The GT40 first won in '66 with Amon and McLaren driving.

Never said 67 was the first year a GT40 won, and I like Buzz just as much as Neil Armstrong. Wink

As for the design on the tee, prefer it unflattened.

The design captures the essence of the event, well done Paddy.

I did wonder what it would like in Black rather than blue?

This is a teaser, right? Grin
Okay then, just to show you why almost everyone is opting for blue...

I think the blue is better.

I'm going to let the poll run till late Sunday, then go with the majority verdict at that time.

I'm back, see you've been busy there Paddy, excellent work mate. Clean, simple and very strong.

Blue works better for me as it falls in with the rest of the shirts colours.

The only thing I would do is extend and complete the bridge and lettering at the top so that it runs out to the right border, it looks cut off as it is. You could also enlarge the car a tad so that it isn't too overpowered by the bridge. If you want me to sort the bridge email me a hi res image and I'll draw it up.

I think the bridge might be too large to fit it all in. By the time the bridge is in complete form, all will be left of the GT40 is an unrecognisable dot Undecided

By the way, if only there would be a distance shot of the complete bridge, then maybe we could get something like this in it, to please everybody Wink

Paddy,
I think my comment may have confused you. All I meant was to just finish the tiny little bit of the bridge at the top where it is clipped, not the whole item. It would just smooth the top of the pic. It wouldn't make any difference to the pro of the pic at all.

I can work easily from those Paddy, I will use the basis of the line art you have already created and redraw it cleaning it up so it will print well.
