Food for thought.

I just did a very quick render from an image I nicked off the net. Is this a starting point for an image, I'll of course create an original work and customise the branding on the car, the logo could be be dropped in behind the image and if you want the clock that could go in too,  I would suggest bringing in a graphic swirl behind the car to represent the track, it will also give it some speed.

I'm off in three hours so I'll catch up when I get back.

Like that a lot especially the name on the front  Grin

I have found it.. can be photoshopped into sketch and I think says le mans in style!!

Worked on that one a little. See result.
Top one is the original, bottom is when I threw it through a textile filter, which will show the end result on a shirt.

I thought that the "2 beers" copyright was dealt with more locally?

I actually quite anal about the concept of using something in breach of someone's copyright.

Hmm, never heard that phrase before Roll Eyes

Anyway, the photograph above ain't something special, I can't see the problem. After fiddeling around with it a little, the owner probably won't even recognise it.
Or should we ask Temietermite to drive up to Le Mans again and make a copy of that shot with her camera, just to make it legal? Undecided

Wandering around on the actual track is tricky, even in the off season!  A shot of the clock I might manage from the terrace, but even then there's all that bl**dy catch fencing!

A little too polite I think Termie, While I pointed out the copyright mark I am inclided to agree with Paddy that it can look different after a little fiddling

...Off down the club now, win a few quid at snooker, I hope.

A bit late to this thread - but having seen the quality of Rusty's artwork over the years on the Brethren t shirts I would very much like to see some ideas from him.

There are some very good ones above, but the special effects will probably just look like a poor print job in real life.

The flags - personally I'm not really bothered either way - if it costs less without then I would have thought sales would be higher... but I would agree that none is preferable to some...

2 XXL for me, maybe 2 XL for Mark for me please.

I apologise in advance because it's very easy to sit here not thinking up any good ideas and just criticising other peoples efforts, but I prefer a bolder clearer image than the track image.
It is all a bit ambiguous, where as the Steve McQueen image or the Gulf Porsche  images are clearer. I'm not sure how easy the image above will be to recognise, especially when it's distorted by the shape of peoples backs (especially mine).

I have to agree with that, whatever you guys decide it should be easy to recognise.
