I apologise in advance because it's very easy to sit here not thinking up any good ideas and just criticising other peoples efforts, but I prefer a bolder clearer image than the track image.
It is all a bit ambiguous, where as the Steve McQueen image or the Gulf Porsche  images are clearer. I'm not sure how easy the image above will be to recognise, especially when it's distorted by the shape of peoples backs (especially mine).
I have to agree with that, whatever you guys decide it should be easy to recognise.
Agreed, looking at my huge t-shirt collection, the ones which are the most successful are certainly bold and simple.  I'm sure you've seen this
http://www.n138.net/gulfmain.htm
This guy does a lot of LM related t-shirts (I often think the actual artwork is too small for the t-shirts though) and the ideas are quite simple but as such make an obvious statement.  Agreed, Gary, it's easy to criticise when one has zero artistic flair oneself! I'm sure whatever you decide will be great but although I love the photo per se I'm not sure they always work that well on shirts.

I like the image. What would that look like in the CA blue on a white t-shirt?

Smashing. The blue works better than the black - and the GT40 will work better with the tyres.

OK people - we're going to have to make a decision shortly, but I would like to wait until Rusty gets back tomorrow to see if he can come up with anything else.

I liked his view up the pit straight, and I also like Paddy's GT40 with wheels - I wonder if the car could be superimposed onto something 'typically' LM like the Dunlop bridge (or whatever!!).

Anyway, I'll set up a poll in a couple of days and we will go with the majority.

In the meantime, if you have any further ideas.........

OK I'd vote for the tyred (sorry!) GT40 in bleu!

I like the CA style with the union flag but for the sake of harmony it'll be ok without.

A name box could be good too, but I expect Gary will knock up a hang round the neck badge for the MASC contingent, (wont you Gary?) on which we can have our names for ID purposes.

[don't tell him but I do tend to rely on Gary rather a lot when it comes to these things, our secret OK? Wink ]

So 1 for me please if GT40 wheelycar, otherwise I'll stick with the 2006 shirt which is classy with ol'two fingers aboard.
