Norfolk Line, Dover to Dunkirk booked before Jan 31.
£19 each way, quote code MT07. This is their off peak rate which covers the 24hr race. Peak rate is £29.
May be of use to some looking for a cheap crossing.
P S Should have mentioned that price is for car plus five!'

They were very reasonable a couple of years back when I was towing the caravan. Food is excellent.
Downside was finding your way back into the port on the other side...

Yeah Stu, I have 2 TomTom plus in car Smartnav.
The problem at the port was that there was a queue of lorries filling the road waiting for crossings, probably at least a mile long. So signs were obscured, we weren't even sure we were heading in the right direction, and we had to do the whole piece on the wrong side of the road, with a caravan on the back so no scope for turning if we'd guessed wrong, or getting out of the way fo oncoming traffic. (And we'd absolutely hammered up to catch a ferry only to find it had gone 2 hours before...I shoulda read the documentation!!!)

Tis very good now
there's a
major size
truck park for the wagons so no problem there, is also very well signposted, we travelled through there in both June and Sept '06 and had no probs at all
