Am I the only one with this problem?? If so, maybe I lost my cookies or something.
In the forum list view, it used to be that when I clicked the New tag next to a post it took me directly to the new post. Now it just opens the thread on page 1.

You're not alone, Smokie. I was just about to report this problem myself.

I think the up grade has reset all the posts because if you go through to page 200, all the topics are still new. Doon't know what will happen if some one posts after this message and then I click new

Nope, not working Stu.
I suspect it may be a cookie issue, so will delete my cookies and see what happens later with new posts.

It looks like a bug in the forum software to me. The link has a #new at the end but there is no name of new anywhere in the page.
At least the DNS seams to be sorted now. :-)

Hello, this is Lorry, using my alias. It doesn't recognise the Lorry username anymore, although the posts are still there. I think this happened before and cleared itself after a couple of days. I'll try again tomorrow

I had the same problem as that yesterday eventually it let me log in?
The NEW button doesn't seem to work at all. I have cleared cookies and loaded pages, waited for someone to post there and then click NEW and it still took me to the first post. Not really annoying but would be nice to have the option back.

The system had logged both KK and I out. I managed to log in fine but KK had trouble although got in eventually! Can I add (third?) the thanks to DJet and all involved with CA that make it possible for us to post mindless drivel for hours on end

Lorry - it works OK here but I had to change your password to check it. Will email your new password to you - then you can get in and change it.

A possible solution is to change the theme you are using. Change to "SMF Default Theme" this has a couple of nice features. 1) The "new" button seems to work. 2) You can select to "Show unread posts since last visit". 3) You can select "new replies to your posts". On the down side it limits the visible width of your Avatar. t.

Since the update if I try to use ''the mark as read' button, I get a box come up reading 'session verification failed, try logging out and logging back in' Any ideas anyone?

If we get the new buttons back I may switch back over though. Cheers.

HI Barry, I've not seen that problem and I've used it on a number of occasions since the upgrade. Does it happen every time? What browser are you using? Tom.
