Let me try something different here.
Someone posts a picture, the others have to guess how/what/where/when.

I'll start off with this (easy) one.
What happened here? Who were involved? Where was it? What year?

ps. this is my own picture Wink

No not the diesel particulate matter, but it had something to do with another car.

What car, what color?

Hmmm, I've got plenty of touring-car material to go at but not much GT/prototype stuff.

Anyhow, anyone care to comment on what was going on here......

Huh

Looks like someone is trying to exterminate several hundred wasps with some powdered poison.

Either that or someone misread the plans for a new temporary chicane, and decided to put in a curve of cocaine  Wink

You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

On the Sunday at Le Mans this year, behind the grandstands, there were this bunch of ugly critters loitering around, not sure what they had found to eat but they seemed to think it particularly appetising.  An hour later, the stewards had realised the possible safety hazard and summoned  a specialist to despatch them to hornet-heaven or wherever they go

A delightfully French response I thought at the time.  The guy handling the stuff was dressed for a nuclear attack while thousands of people in shorts and t-shirts looked on!

Oh come on, Muzorewa Grin

Tom Coronel at Donnington this year. Wrecked the rear axle because he was too enthousiasticly taking the curbs.
Earlier that day he nearly wrecked his front bumper too, by waving at us and nearly colliding with the car in front of him during the warmup lap Grin
