I had a rather boozy weekend with some chaps riding bicycles in Yorkshire. You might think these bicycles look strange. Yes the tyres are rather large, but they make you smile, and hey kids, that's what it's all about. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yqynvq7fs3I&feature=share

Whats with the blue skies and bright shiney thing? It's been like that quite a lot lately. So much so, that last Wednesday it was far too blue and shiny to go into work, so I turned left instead of right and spent the day playing in the woods. I picked my daughters up from school several hours later carrying my broken bike, covered in mud, sweat, a huge ear to ear smile and with a nice open wound down one arm dripping blood everywhere. The eldest, looking round, asked why she couldn't have a nice normal Dad just like her friends. I just winked and said that one day she would be glad she didn't have a normal dad and that I would take them for blackjack flavoured milk shakes on the way home to make up for it. You need days like that every now and then. I call them 'reset button days'.

After the announcement of Alpine's resurrection on Monday, here is a little clip of the 'glory days'.
Be interesting to see whether the comeback is WRC or sports cars, but if the hook up is with Caterham, then hopefully the latter.....but then these are the sort of sounds that would be nice to hear back..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ox2wgHqrNy0&feature=fvwrelhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnCNyB52J0QMG Mark
