If you see this chap clearing a camping spot at a racetrack anywhere near you, then I'd suggest a swift move in any direction that takes your fancy... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JH3Xec6tjI

Sorry, another bicycle film. But it does make you wonder where it all went wrong. Britain at its best, although 60 years ago, it's still a good watch, so put on your shorts and crack out the ginger beer chaps! http://film.britishcouncil.org/how-a-bicycle-is-madeSmashing.

Brilliant Find Si, Brings back so many memories of my student days in Manchester living in a flat in Didsbury, the Didsbury Dozen on a Friday night , the cheese shop The nasty Italian restaurant (next door to the N+P building Society). Next time a head into Madchester I will take a detour via Didsbury and check it out! oh the fun and games we used to have........................... Jules

A friend sent a link yesterday as he knew I was an ex-Didsbury resident. Had some happy days and nights down there. Sunday lunch in the Met, Sunday booze ups in the Woodstock, chatting to John Squire about Yeti bikes in Neil Walton's bike shop. Need to go back one day and see how much it's changed.

Not too far off, though you forgot the estate agents, hand made gifteries and organic veg shop! The Met, Cheese Hamlet, Fletcher Moss, Dog & Partridge are all still going strong. Not to mention GT Blagg, providing quality household products for the local community since 1871! Having said all that, its still nicer in the school holidays than term time!
