As I'm bolting the old Alfa back together in time for its june trip to France I though I would post this up. This is the car that runs all the development parts that have gone into my car. Its regularly lapping the ring in 8m 20s. Not bad for a 1960s design on road tyres. Its done a sub 8 mins lap on race tyres and an empty track Its still a road car (his racer is even quicker and finished 8th out of 60 starters at the Spa 6 hour last year) and it does 8-9,000 miles a year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dht_Ouo4vsw&feature=PlayList&p=A48F55E334497137&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=10 Blimey Si, I've watched the clip a few times and I reckon your mate goes via the Ring to and from work cos he sure knows his way round

I'm going to try and get a pass out for the 24hr so want to have the car ready in time. I will need to run the new motor in too.

Bloody foriegn trucks, cant see peeps who are on the front right side of the cabs when they pull out from lane 1 to lane 2, hence clip the back wing and put the car across th efront of the truck. Didnt seen seem to slow this guy down though, must have felt something. I have seen this on the M6, it is scary.

Both truck and driver in this vid are british. Arclid transport.
I think the motto is never be alongside a truck for more time than required to either pass it or fall behind. Its a war out there.
