As I'm bolting the old Alfa back together in time for its june trip to France I though I would post this up. This is the car that runs all the development parts that have gone into my car. Its regularly lapping the ring in 8m 20s. Not bad for a 1960s design on road tyres. Its done a sub 8 mins lap on race tyres and an empty track  Its still a road car (his racer is even quicker and finished 8th out of 60 starters at the Spa 6 hour last year) and it does 8-9,000 miles a year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dht_Ouo4vsw&feature=PlayList&p=A48F55E334497137&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=10 |
