Is Cuban Heels and Oxford Bags okay?
Probably, if you want to be chatted up by Stephen Fry or one of his schoolmates. F

I put down any date, which is true, but actually I'd mainly go for the 15th. There's a terrific 12 piece R&B/hardfunk/soul band playing at Dover St Wine Bar at 9.30pm and I'll be going along to that later if anyone cares to get up offa that thang with the hardest-hitting horn section in Town. Jump back!
Didn't you leave early last year to go to a "concert"? I'm not overly keen on that sort of thing especially if it's rammed with no room at the bar. However if they have a liberal attitude to herbal cigars it may be different Nice.

I shall investigate the likelyhood of my being in a position to shake my money maker on that particular evening. And please consider my funky stuff already strutted.

Yup, you might remember I was with my mate Byron from Newcastle and trust me he would not go to a concert where drink was not freely available. I went to see Page and Plant with him some years ago. I wasn't allowed just to sit and watch Page and Plant with him around, no, I had to sit and watch Page and Plant and drink ten pints too. Don't know the official door policy on herby schmokes in Dover St, but I imagine it's the sort of place where you'd probably be better off knocking a line out on the top of the toilet cistern.

A litle taster here for those who are interested. http://www.blunterbrothers.co.uk/video.phpIncidentally the keyboard player is from Thailand, he's blind and used to attend the same church as The Gimp. Make it funky.

A good video, I'm up for it. Dover Street info - http://www.doverst.co.uk/music.php?myDate=2006-12-15"After 10.00 pm there is a music cover charge for those wishing to come and enjoy the music and dancing and to have a drink in one of our three bars."

Rollox!!! I can't make the 15th, company Xmas party!
Purely from a selfish point of view as I can't make the 15th, be aware that the closer we get to Xmas the busier the bars and clubs will be!!

There can also be huge queues after that time as well but you do eventually get in. Easiest way is to book a table for grub, straight in y'see' and the ribs'n'all aint half bad. I've been there the last 2 years running for our local boozers christmas outing, and it's been a top shout. Last year Johnny Bond met a very tasty piece that is to about to become Mrs. Johnny Bond next April. ( twat ) Rusty

So I take it then that it will be the 15th? I will attend then . I will meet you all in the Argyll Arms about 5ish then off to DoverSt after. Might have to head home at 2130 or alternatively head to Fabric for some night long clubbing! (Depends who is playing that night though. Tim Westwood is not really what I enjoy listening to!)
