Just noticed that this is probably the quickest a topic is gone "Off Topic"!!

Back on Topic.

Old chassis seem to be pointless buying as the new aco regs mean that chassis mods seem to be one of the areas that the car gain an advantage. Running a 6 year old chassis seems a bit daft to me!

Hi Johnny

Good information - if it is true.

When you get info like this, it is better if you quote the source of the information eg give the URL of the site, or the name of the magazine/newspaper where you saw it.  Not only does this give the info credibility, but if the info turns out to be incorrect, there is no comeback to yourself.

NB Keep your eye on Rick's posts - if he makes a spelling mistake, you can respond as he did (and the excuse of being p*ssed is NO excuse)!!   Lips Sealed Lips Sealed Lips Sealed

This was on the Lister website, but it doesnt yet specify which chassis..

".... Lister has invested in an LMP1 chassis for 2007;  this new car will return the team to the front of the grid and, once again, give us the potential to win races."

Can I just clarify this already seriously off-topic topic. It was announced in an interview with Henri Pescarolo (with Laurent over on Infocourse - i think) that Pescarolo would be making 6 new cars for 2007 at full LMP 1 spec, with the intention of racing two themselves at Le Mans and the LMS and selling the other 4 to customers. He apparently hinted that Lister and Kruse had bought one each and that Kruse may purchase a second.

It seems old Henri has decided to quit whining about lack of money and sell cars to finance their racing.

No spelling errors - I hope.

Whatever Laurence Pearce has bought, it's got to be better than that useless Andy Thorby designed Storm. What a pack of crap that was.

Whilst we're all picking on poor Johnny, I noticed he used the wrong version of "their", and "aswell" is two words as well. Oh, and what's a "hybride"? It's a good job that nice Mr Blair keeps telling us that the standards in school, measured against exam results, are perpetually raising!

So potentially, its a 7 year old design, but modified to this / last years spec with a customer engine ??

I loved the noise of the Storm. Terrible results, but ear bending noise.

Good to see some good info for once.
