is it necessary for booking the ferry just yet?  Do they get busy in January? Angry
No, I'm just a bit anal in this regard, FS.  More to do with the fact that I like to get such things sorted. Sad, eh?

Right guys and gals, chances are I'm staying at the Monterey in St Helier.  Be good if other CAers were staying there too, if you haven't booked yet.

Ferry prices are not confirmed yet for that late in January. Looks bloody expensive to me! Quoted £628 for the weekend before for a car and 5!!! Footpassenger is about £100 return. What airlines fly there?

Anywhere in the south of England! Might even be cheaper to fly to the USA then back then to Jersey!

Take fagey's advice and get a package deal.  300 euros for 3 nights accom including the ferry.

Try Flybe from Southampton. Should be able to get a return flight for around £60-£70 depending on what time you travel.
