Hello,

I've sent a couple of PM, but for those coming over, I'm just apologising because it looks like my weekend is not going as planned. With work during the night, it rules me out of anything evenings onwards.

If there is anything planned for lunch on one of the days, I may be able to get along and say hello to you all.

But if I can't, I hope you all have a great couple of days over here.

Regards,
Dave.

The restaurant looks great, fagey.  Are we going to try to meet for one of the lunchtimes so dks can join us?  If only for a pint somewhere - god how I miss decent beer!

 Kiss Kiss Kiss

Hi all

Just thought I would confirm that I do have Friday's events under control.

I can meet you straight after work at a place on the Waterfront called The Bar.

We can then meander through town and decide where to have a food pit stop - lots of choice so have a think of what type of food you might like and I will make a decision on the best place to go.

A few more bar visits and then we can head to Chambers where there is a live band on a Friday night or even Blues Bar who also feature a live band. Then for those left standing its the Havana Club.

What do you reckon Fagey?

I think you might want to recover and take time to enjoy some of the facilities in your hotels on Saturday morning. Perhpas we can meet for a light lunch and a bit of a mooch around the shops or perhaps a quick tour of the Island?

Then glad rags on again for Dorans Bistro at 7.30

Let me know if there are any other special requests and I can see what I can do.

Rick, are you still going to fly by the seat of your pants and come over?

Can't wait to see you all

Hello again

Please can those who are on the CA-CI Meet please PM me with their arrival, departure and place staying info. Also it would be handy to have your mobile numbers if you are bringing one.

To those who are not coming over - shame on you. The weather is gorgeous this time of year on this lovely Island in the middle of the sea!! Roll Eyes

I've pm'd you, Lisa.  Roughly what time do you knock off work?  If the ferry ever gets across, I should be in the bar at about 19.30 - unless I have turned green and retired to bed!

 Kiss Kiss Kiss

Hi got your PM's

Jeans are good in just about everywhere so no worries in that respect.

I finish work at around 5.30 so its up to the two of you what time you want to meet up.

Termie - I am sorry but Jersey does not have a Tesco or a Sainsbury. I know, its a pain. Obviously there are supermarkets the three biggest being Checkers, Co-op and Safeway (which is tiny and a bit horrid).

The Co-op is near the hotel you are staying at and I should think would sell most of the things you might want.

Anyway, don't worry too much about the weather, its going to be fine  Roll Eyes

Speak to you soon

You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

I hope you guy's that are going to the Channel Islands meet this weekend have a safe journey in this stormy weather.

I watched "The Day After Tomorrow" a couple of weeks ago and the weather here at the moment is starting to look awfully familiar.
