F**ck Silverstone Donningtons viewing is better by far. It's also a lot more central than Brands

You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

Spot on Neal. Everything was better at Donny than Silverstone, campsite, viewing even the weather was good which suprised me being so far North. Keep it there every year I say

Donington was much better than Silverstone, in every aspect, so I hope they keep it there for a long time to come.

I'm not so bothered about only having a handful of races, afterall they are 6 hours as opposed to the usual 2hrs 45mins.

ALMS series gets a lot more sponsorship and coverage than the LMES.

Brands Hatch would be more friendly to us "Continentals" Wink

Monza is out for good, you can forget all about Zandvoort.

My '07 wish:

• Paul Ricard (great for high speed)
• A1 Ring (great camping on the mountain slope Grin)
• Nürburgring (mal wieder besoffen am...)
• Spa (tradition)
• Brands Hatch (or Donington)
• Bugatti Circuit (and camp near the Dunlop Bridge)

Yep, watching ALMS on Speed Channel (via MotorsTV here in Europe) says it all.

I'd like to see some tracks I've never been before. So Brands, Brno, Dijon, Hungaroring and Estoril for me please. And Spa of course. And the Nürburgring. A1 Ring sounds good as well.

Then again, I'll probably show up at most LMS races, not matter where they are.

I think Brno would be a nice addition to the calendar. I've been there and it's really a great track. The track layout and the variation in altitude is very nice, the atmosphere at the track is great and you can get yourself pissed for a couple euros there.

Maybe they should organise it at Zandvoort just to piss off the people who are complaining about the noise. Then find every Panoz and Covette on the planet and all enter them and let them go for six hours. That'll teach them.

While I mostly agree with that, the pit lane at Doni is the Worst one I have ever seen, It really is not suited to cars or endurance racing.

I personally wouldn't want a 7 race series, the ones we have are enough for me thanks. However, in the above list you are forgetting that the LMS forms part of pre-qualifying for Le Mans, so you could include that on your list.

2. Istanbul - are you serious? If it wasn't for the Tukish Govenment paying the series to go, they wouldn't.

3. Brands Hatch. Too small Pit Lane, you could never get all the cars/teams in there.

Those who went to Donington obviously didn't go into the paddock or see the garages!  If a team was unlucky enough to get one of the first few carages then they only just about had enough room for the truck behind the garage!  And talking of garages,  who ever designed them quite clearly never measured a LPM1 or LPM2 car!  Plus there's a used car lot at one end of the paddock,  I know circuits have to make money somehow but a used car lot!!!!!!  I know Silverstone has it's failings but at least there's plenty of space!  Especially when no one turns up to watch a race which has the same cars that they trek to LM to watch!

Whilst the viewing at Donington is superb the rest of the facilities need a rebuild!  Loud speakers are worse than Silverstone!

But hey ho, Silverstone, Brands or Donington are fine for me as long as we get a race!
