Bob, whilst I can't speak for the Gimp who goes green at the sight of a deep bath, I'm personally not a land lubber. I'll be out there battling on the highseas for three and a half days later this week; I'm out on the Atlantic/Biscay from wed through saturday. And I dispute that flying is an easy option especially on Sleazyjet and their stunt pilots flying round knackered on maximum allowed hours. Anything can happen!
PS I hear that old Crazy Walt Raleigh was a bit of a puff too, he started all this rum sodomy and the lash business.

(silence) Indeed he is, although the mask itself went missing for the Classic. Fortunately it's turned up again, panic over, it should be coming to Holland with us.

What a bunch of landlubbers, and there's me thinking that us British were a sea faring nation.
.......... only poofs are seasick
I think on the subject of great British seafarers, dear old Nelson himself was invariably seasick. So there!!

The ferry that me and bob are planning on taking is a HUGE catermaran so you should not have any problems with sea sickness. Stena Line is the most stupid ferry company I ever stumbled on. They quoted me €680.00 for the Donington trip, and for next year they quoted me €80 for a motorbike and €90 for a 5 foot motorbike trailer, both single way! They must have too many customers to choose from

Cars on that line are WAY too expensive mainly because all the flower lorries use it to bring the flowers into the UK as fresh as possible.
